I’m an Early Years leadership specialist, former preschool founder, and systems thinker passionate about raising standards across the sector. I help nursery leaders move from survival mode to structured, confident leadership — using smarter systems and AI as practical tools for change.
I’ve been in Early Years for over 13 years, beginning as a childminder and going on to open and run my own preschool. I’ve managed teams, mentored staff, developed curriculum, led inspections, and earned Early Years Teacher Status. I know what it’s like to build something from nothing — and to carry the emotional and operational weight of leading a setting.
Early Years leadership is demanding. The workload is heavy. The systems are often outdated. And too many leaders are left firefighting instead of leading. I’ve experienced the overwhelm, the decision fatigue, and the pressure of holding everything together — and I believe the sector deserves better support, better systems, and stronger leadership culture.
